2nd graders cut leaf shapes out of paper towels, dipped them in a water/glue mixture, and left them to dry on the watercolor paper over night. The next class they painted the leaves and background with watercolor, and on the final day, they added movement to their painting by creating lines resembling wind, using colored pencils.
